Friday 25th November 2022 was a very busy day for Health Care Foundation Zambia (HCFZ). The day started by HCFZ leadership and management paying a courtesy call on the Office of the Chongwe District Health Director before proceeding to Chainda Rural Health Centre for familiarisation and stakeholder engagement activity.
The familiarisation and stakeholder engagement meetings were aimed at identifying the surrounding area’s community health needs and possible areas of cooperation to implement a Community Health Education and Promotion Project under the Diseases Prevention and Control Program of HCFZ.
Suffice to simply say that, alot was learnt. We are grateful to Chongwe District Health Office management and staff.
Thankfully, HCFZ using its blended expertise and power found in its pool of community based members is equal to the task to positively contribute to goverment and other stakeholders’ efforts aimed at achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
